Buying a pre-owned account
Buying a pre-owned account has more steps than the other product types, because the system verifies that the account still exists and works before charging you. This guide explains what each step is doing.
Before you start
- You are signed in
- Your wallet has enough credit — if not, you can top up straight from the confirmation page
Steps
Step 1 — Pick the account you want
The product page lists several accounts for the same game, each with a different library, playtime and price. Click the one you want.
Step 2 — Read and accept the terms
The confirmation page has an acceptance checkbox. The confirm button stays disabled until you tick it. Click the link in that row to read the full text first — this is the last time you see it before money moves.
⚠️ Every order needs a fresh tick. The site deliberately does not remember your acceptance between orders, because the terms can be updated at any time.
Step 3 — Click "Confirm order" and wait for verification
You will see a spinner reading "verifying", with a counter of elapsed seconds.
⚠️ This step can take up to about a minute and a half, and that is normal. The system is actually signing in to that account to confirm it still works. Do not close the page, do not go back, do not click again.
Nothing has been charged at this point.
Step 4 — Confirm once more, and the charge happens
Once verification passes, the final price is shown for confirmation. Click it and the amount is deducted from your wallet, and the account is reserved for you.
Step 5 — Receive the credentials
After the charge, the system sets a fresh password on the account, prepares mailbox access, and takes you to the order detail page with everything on it.
From there, continue with that platform's guide, for example Signing in to Steam for the first time.
What the messages mean
"The price has changed"
The price of this account moved while you had the page open. Nothing has been charged and the item is still available. The new price is shown for comparison — confirm to continue if you are happy with it.
This gate exists so you are never charged a price you did not see on screen.
"This item has already been sold"
Someone bought it first. Pre-owned accounts are one-of-a-kind. Nothing was charged. Go back and pick another one.
"Verification did not finish in time, the item is still available"
The upstream side is slower than usual. The item is still there and nothing was charged. Just try again — the second attempt is usually much faster because the verification result has been cached.
"Sorry, this item cannot be ordered right now due to a system problem"
A problem on our side, not with the item. Picking a different item will not help. Contact an admin, or try again later.
"The request failed, please try again"
Retry once. If it fails again, check your wallet balance before retrying further to see whether you were charged. If you were charged but got nothing, contact an admin with the time you clicked buy.
If you were charged but got nothing
Check My orders first — sometimes the item arrived and only the confirmation page dropped out.
If it genuinely is not there, contact an admin with the time you clicked buy and the game name. The system has a safety net that sweeps for stuck orders, but telling us speeds it up.
Do not buy again — you will end up with two orders.
