Adding funds with PromptPay

Money you add becomes credit in your wallet, usable on anything in the shop.

Takes about 2 minutes.

Before you start

  • You are signed in
  • You have a banking app that can send PromptPay transfers
  • Minimum 20 THB per transaction

Steps

Step 1 — Open the top-up dialog

Click your username in the top right → Add funds.

Step 2 — Enter an amount and choose PromptPay

Type the amount, select PromptPay as the payment method, then click Confirm & pay now.

Step 3 — Scan the QR and transfer

⚠️ The amount to transfer has odd satang that will not match what you typed — you type 100 but must send 100.37. That is correct. Do not round it off. Those two decimal places are how the system tells your transfer apart from everyone else's arriving at the same time. Round it and the system cannot match it, so an admin has to credit it by hand.

Scanning the QR from your banking app fills the amount in automatically, which is safer than typing it. If you must type it, there is a Copy amount button.

Step 4 — Wait a moment; the credit arrives on its own

There is nothing to confirm after transferring. The page is watching this transaction. When the bank reports it, your balance updates within seconds.

You can close the dialog while waiting; the credit still lands.

Things to know

The QR expires, but the slip still works

The page counts down. Once it expires the QR can no longer be scanned — but if you transferred before it expired, you can still verify by uploading the slip. See Transferred but not credited.

Clicking pay again gives you the same QR, not a new one

That is deliberate. If a new one were issued every time, someone who transferred and then clicked again would end up with several transactions differing by a few satang, with their money attached to an old one nobody is watching.

If you genuinely changed your mind, click Cancel payment in the dialog and create a new one.

⚠️ Only cancel if you have not transferred yet. If you cancel after transferring, that money can no longer be matched to the transaction and an admin has to credit it manually.

Which wallet gets the credit

The wallet of the account you are signed in as. The dialog shows the email address so you can check before transferring. It does not matter whose bank account you send from — the credit always goes to the wallet shown.

If you get stuck

You transferred but the balance has not moved

See Transferred but not credited — you can verify it yourself.

It says the amount must be greater than 20

The minimum per transaction is 20 THB (or the equivalent in your chosen currency).

It says your session expired

The page sat open too long. Refresh and sign in again.

The QR will not scan

Zoom in so the code is larger, or reduce glare. If it still fails, use TrueMoney Wallet instead.
