Adding funds with TrueMoney Wallet

This route suits people without a bank account, or who already have a TrueMoney balance.

Takes about 2 minutes.

Before you start

  • You are signed in
  • You have the TrueMoney Wallet app with enough balance
  • Minimum 20 THB per transaction

Steps

Step 1 — Open the top-up dialog

Click your username in the top right → Add funds.

Step 2 — Enter an amount and choose TrueMoney

Click Confirm & pay now.

Step 3 — Transfer using the details shown

The page shows the destination phone number, the account name, and the amount to transfer.

⚠️ The amount must match to the satang — if it says 100.42, send 100.42, not 100. This matters even more than it does for PromptPay, because TrueMoney does not tell us who sent what. Those two decimal places are the only thing linking the money to your account. Round it off and the system cannot match it; an admin has to credit it by hand.

Step 4 — Wait a moment; the credit arrives on its own

There is nothing to report and no slip to send. The system is notified by TrueMoney and credits you automatically.

Can you scan a QR instead?

Yes — there is a Show QR button in the same panel.

⚠️ That QR only works from an identity-verified TrueMoney account. If it will not scan, nothing is broken — go back to transferring by phone number. The result is identical.

Things to know

The transaction expires

The page counts down (usually about half an hour). Once it expires you have to create a new one, because the reserved amount is released for someone else to use.

Clicking pay again gives you the same transaction

Same reason as PromptPay — to avoid several confusing transactions with different amounts. If you changed your mind, click Cancel payment.

⚠️ After cancelling, money transferred later cannot be matched, because the reserved amount is immediately released for someone else. This route is clearly riskier here than PromptPay — do not cancel if you have already transferred.

Why the amount differs from what you typed

The system picks 1-99 satang for your transaction and reserves that exact figure so nobody else can use it until your transaction expires. That is the mechanism that gets the money to the right wallet without a slip.

If you get stuck

You transferred and nothing arrived

Give it 5 minutes. If it still has not arrived, contact an admin with proof of the transfer — this route has no automatic slip checking (that exists only for PromptPay).

You transferred a rounded amount

The money is not lost, but the system cannot match it automatically. Contact an admin with proof, the time of the transfer, and the exact amount sent.

You cannot find a confirm button after transferring

There isn't one, and there does not need to be. TrueMoney notifies us directly.
