本作品以北宋仁宗嘉佑元年至神宗朝熙丰年间的历史为背景。
宋夏庆历和议后，大宋四海稍安，仁宗英宗奉行祖宗法度谨守河山。
浮华背后，天下财力日穷而风俗日衰，一切或许到了不得不变的时候......

本作品试图深度解读宋代历史，除部分美术素材外（后续希望有机会替换），正史剧情部分若有与历史记载出入较大之处，还望大家斧正。个人能力有限，希望有幸与大家一起学习、积累、成长。

目前版本只开放做官的从文线，涉及玩法多有考据，尽力贴合宋代历史。
科举玩法：
随机题目皆为宋代省试或殿试真题。
断案玩法：
涉及案件均为宋代真实案例，大多出自《名公书判清明集》。
榷货务：
入中贸易为宋代特色，是朝廷调节各地资源分配的重要手段。

个人认为熙丰变法是中国古代历史的转折点，唐末至五代以来，租庸调制度崩溃。赵宋终结五代之乱象，立国而不抑兼并，世人开始注重物质享受和个人财富积累。宋人迫切需要全新的思想和法度来建立新的天下秩序。
神宗和王安石力图建立一个外向的刚健政府，最终功败垂成。宋学慢慢转向，进而朱子之学占据主导地位，后世文明走向内向。
如果熙丰变法能够重来，宋代学术可以被重新塑造，一切又会怎样？

游戏中收录了《夷坚志》中的近百个小故事。
个人很喜欢《夷坚志》这本书，此书为洪迈毕生心血，洪迈幼年时北宋灭亡，后在南宋为官五十余年，履历丰富。他每与朋友相会，便闲聊各地风物见闻，最终汇编为《夷坚志》。
书中虽多有鬼神记载，看似荒诞，各类细节却具有很强史料价值，也实实在在反映了一千年前各类人物的精神世界和生活状态。
